How fortunate for me that our annual review and IEP meeting happened to fall on a Thursday. So I can cage two birds at once (I see no reason for violence and killing of innocent creatures). I’ve always found the assessment score portion of Gus’s IEP to be more complicated than deciphering the Dead Sea Scrolls, but I’ve come to gain a little better understanding of them. Today I am thankful for: New furniture that my in-laws have so generously given us. I’ve been mentally preparing myself for weeks now, preparing for an epic battle. I anticipated that there would be fists banging on tables and possibly threats to call lawyers or to remove Gus from the school system.
