Last night I had the pleasure of listening to a talk given by Jesse Saperstein, author of Atypical: Life with Asperger’s in 20 1/3 Chapters. Mr. Saperstein spoke about some of his challenges growing up on the spectrum as well as how he’s fared as an adult with Asperger’s. He was candid and engaging when recounting [...] Towel in toilet. Gus is my assistant for today and we’ve recorded a Thursday Thankfulness post. But since our recording only includes his Thankfulness, I’ll write my brief list. We took Gus to see How to Train Your Dragon as part of his birthday weekend celebration. We mixed up the times and ended up seeing the regular version instead of the 3D. I’m glad we did! If my research skills haven’t failed me, the episode, titled “When Carl Met George,” should be shown on April 5. He is always more focused and present after even a few minutes of exercise. Because he also tends to have somewhat low muscle tone, strengthening exercises are essential for him.
