Today was a sort of surprise snow day. The buses were already on their runs when first a delay and then a school closing enacted. Luckily, I had gotten a call from Gus’s bus driver to tell me that the roads were bad. I decided then to keep both kids home despite whatever the schools decided. Since [...] I thought I would be keeping Gus busy today, but it seems he’s turned the tables on me. Even though he has to be home, he feels all right, so he’s had lots of energy. We started off our day by getting MM off to school – she was a little annoyed that her brother got [...] Image from Wikimedia Commons Earlier this week, I kept Gus home because he had a cough and scratchy throat. He had no fever, but his voice sounded terrible, and he had a weird rash I wanted the doctor to look at anyway. He had no fever at the doctor’s office, and fought like a madman when [...] Friday night, Gus started bowling for the winter in a special needs league. I was pretty shocked at the sheer number of people – roughly a hundred from about ages 6-21. He had a wonderful time while he lasted.
